Salsa

Salsa is both a music style - the so-called salsa music - and a latin american dance, that is danced to this music. It has its origins in North and Central America in the 1960s. Its main characteristics are the mixture of figures and the sensual movements of the women. Salsa is much more than a dance, it is a way of life, danced in 4/4 time. A modern social dance that you can dance every day somewhere in the area.

Bachata

The sensual dance originated in the Dominican Republic in the early 1960s in the form of the Bolero. In the early days, the dance was not considered entirely youth-friendly, so it was banned. It was only in the 90s that the dance was accepted by society. Since 2000, like all other latin dances, Bachata has boomed. The music of Bachata is very sophisticated. Mostly played with guitars, bongos and güira, this romantic dance can' t be missed on the dancefloor. Besides the classic Bachata style we teach Bachata Sensual and Bachata Fusion.
